"Allen was a true professional - super helpful in-store and did not push us to buy anything we didn't want to, he gave us space to try out each of the mattresses to see which we liked best. Friendly guy and gave insightful reviews of each mattress we were considering - even delivered it on the same day! He did advise that this is not alway s doable so best to come as early as you can in the day if this is something you'd be needing. Best customer service I have received in a long time, so grateful to the business for relieving us of the stress we'd experienced trying to find the perfect mattress. 4th time lucky, all thanks to Carl Allen Furnishings! "Called in to look for carpet and sofas. Very attentive. Tried out various furniture. Settled on a 3 piece which will be delivered before Christmas at less than shops offering black Friday sales. Booked for carpet measure and given a quote which was very reasonable considering the size of the room. Just hope it looks as good as I hope when completed!"

"I was looking for an Ottoman bed and living locally, passing the shop on numerous occasions, decided to call in. Allen was fantastic, friendly & knowledgeable but no way pushy. We also needed advice on a new bedroom/stair carpet and Jim (owner) was more than helpful. Jim came out to confirm measurements the next day, again very friendly and helpful. We needed the bed and carpet within a week and this was accomated with carpet being fitted in the morning, bed delivered and set up in the afternoon! Carpet fitter and the guys who delivered the bed were professional, friendly and polite! All in all a great experience and I would highly recommend a visit to this shop if you are looking for old fashioned friendly service at a great price."

"Asked for a job to be measured up prior to having new carpets fitted. Measuring went straight forward and on time. Carpets selected from a very extensive range offered. Order placed and date agreed for fitting. Fitting went seamlessly and on schedule. Job left very clean and tidy on completion.
